Speculative Fiction from Around the World

We See A Different Frontier Hits Funding Goal

Fabio Fernandes and Djibril Al-Ayad‘s fundraiser for We See A Different Frontier, an anthology of “colonialism-themed speculative fiction from outside the first-world viewpoint”, has reached its target goal of $3000.

Congratulations to them both! I am told submissions for this project may open in June.

I would like to recommend that, if you would like to support this project, do consider donating more (the peerbackers project is running for another 19 days), partly to help cover the additional peerbacker and paypal costs and partly to allow them to make the project even bigger and better. But even if not, this is a fantastic achievement and I look forward to seeing the finished product!

  1. Thank you, Lavie! May I point your readers also to my latest post on The Cogsmith? It is written in Portuguese, because I intend to give a few Brazilian books to the next people who donate until the 20th. This is not a thing closed to Brazilian people only; but it helps if you understand the language…😉
